Phased Array Ultrasonic Test

Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is a non-destructive inspection technique that uses a series of ultrasonic testing (UT) probes consisting of many tiny elements, each of which is pulsed individually with computer timing.

PAUT is used to detect component failures such as cracks and defects, and can be applied to welding checks, thickness measurements, corrosion checks, and detecting defects.
